Work

I'm at work, despite it being so cold. I just saw a manager that everyone dislikes and how I would to see him get knocked down a peg. Also, my manager just walked in and I was under the impression she wasn't supposed to be here today. Great.

Funny thing...

While reading The Sign of the Four, Sherlock asked if the thorn found in the victim is an English thorn. The thorn had poison on it. The "English thorn" comment made me think of an "English rose". Earlier this morning, "Every rise has it's thorns" came on the radio. And it's sung by Posion. Get it? I thought it was funny. Another funny thing is, in The Sign of the Four, there is a boat named The Aurora. In my Sherlock fanfiction, I made Sherlock's daughter named Aurora. This was before I even read The Sign of the Four.

Work

I'm back at work...again, after two days off in a row. It's also pay day, so it's pretty much the worst day of the week. Oh well, at least I got Hunger Games and Battleship on DVD with digital copies. So I'll be able to watch them anywhere I want. I also got a new book called Gangster Squad about taking down the mob in L.A.

God I can't wait for pay day. I want to see The Bourne Legacy and Lawless soooooo badly.

Half way

Well I'm halfway thru my second week of college and haven't had a panic attack. Good news!

Oh my god!

It has just been announced that Oliver Phelps is going to play the Avox Darius in The Hunger Games:Catching Fire! It's going to be so weird seeing him in that movie after watching him for 10 years playing George Weasley. Gene Wilder is also slated to play the male morphling, which makes sense in a way. He's pretty messed up to begin with.

Second day down

So far, I have to read two syllabuses, two different chapters in my textbooks, and I have to learn how to use Blackboard. Yay! Note the sarcasm in my voice.

First day of college

It's my first day of college and I got here way too early. What to do...

Everyone says that college is a new adventure. Is it okay to be a little scared? Anyone have some college tips and/or encouragements?

Sherlock again

I know I keep blogging about sherlock, but I'm just so darn addicted to it. I've started reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's complete Sherlock Holmes and I will probably be blogging about that. I will start with a study in scarlet...as soon as I finish it of course!

Sherlock

A couple of days ago, I posted about getting addicted to Sherlock. If any of you have gotten thru the first and second series, then you know that Sherlock fakes his death. I was going thru fanfiction, like I always do when I get addicted to something. All these stories containing the phrase, "I believe in Sherlock Holmes". Am I missing something? Has there been a promo for Series 3 that I don't know about? Another thing, I really don't think Sherlock and John could possibly be gay together. Not in they're portrayed. They wouldn't even make a good couple. In the Harry Potter universe, I can see Harry and Draco together, but Sherlock and John? No way!

Tax free weekend

I am soooooo happy that tax free weekend is over! Now work can go back to normal.

Work

Okay, so I went to work today expecting it to be like any other. A bit bust and slow down around 8:30 and then go home at 10. But low and behold, one of my co-workers who I was under the impression wasn't going to come back, shows up. You see, our personality's are very alike and she often pisses me off. It doesn't help that she's 4 months pregnant. I don't have a problem with pregnant teenagers...it's just...she won't stop rubbing her stomach. Like she's trying to show off the fact that she's 16 and pregnant. Oh well... And tomorrow, we're the only one's working. Joy.

British T.V.

I am currently hooked on Wallander and Sherlock. I first got into Wallander, because Tom Hiddleston us in it. I got into Sherlock because of Benedict Cumberbatch. If you love crime shows, you have got to watch these. British T.V is so much better. The U.S tried to make their own version of Skins, but they botched it up real bad.

Happy birthday to me!

It is my 18th birthday today. I'm about to start college, still a virgin, and never been kissed. Perfect... I'm taking myself shopping tomorrow, so it's whatever.
